What, when and how much?
This exedition will cost from £2,350 (2010 Price)
This expedition will take place from 12TH FEB TO 27th FEB 2011 (PROVISIONAL)
Itinerary (Provisional)
Day 1 Aberdeen to Kilimanjaro via Amsterdam. Arrive and Transfer to Leopard Hotel, Moshi.
Day 2 Transfer to Snowcap Cottage Lodge for acclimatisation trek.
Day 3 Acclimatisation and Orientation Day around the lodge and grounds, briefing from Main Guide etc.
Day 4 Transport to Rongai Route the walk from Loitoktok Gate to Simba Camp.
Day 5 Simba Camp to Kikelewa Camp.
Day 6 Kikelewa Camp to Mawenzi Tarn Hut.
Day 7 Mawenzi Tarn Hut to Kibo Hut.
Day 8 Kibo Hut to UHURU PEAK to Horombo Hut.
Day 9 Horombo Hut to Marangu Gate. Transport to Leopard Hotel and dinner.
Day 10 Sightseeing day in town. Return to Leopard Hotel.
Day 11 Start of 2-day Safari to Karatu Campsite with afternoon landrover drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Dinner at campsite.
Day 12 Very early morning drive to Ngorongoro Crater with a half-day safari and return to Leopard Hotel.
Day 13 Sightseeing day in town. In the afternoon we visit the Mramba Primary School, a 45-minute bus trip away. Return to Leopard Hotel then dinner. Then depart Kilimanjaro to Aberdeen via Amsterdam.
Day 14 Amsterdam - Aberdeen.

This expedition is graded strenuous.
