Classic Assynt Hills
Classic Assynt Mountain Walking Holiday – New for 2010!
Assynt must be Scotland’s best kept secret. Boasting the most sparsely populated area of anywhere in Britain and only infrequently explored by visitors, this remote region has a world class landscape.

What, when and how much? Its hills such as Stac Pollaidh, Suilven, Quinaig, Cul Moor and Cul Beag feature on many calendars and post cards, but failing to reach Munro status, are omitted from hill-walkers’ itineraries. If they are short in stature these wild hills are big in character; dramatic sandstone peaks and ridges rising steeply from a patchwork of moorland and lochans. This holiday promises 4 days of exciting and rewarding mountain walks.(Link to http://www.assynt.info/index.html)
